Vision

The vision of the Chemistry department is to develop a leading department of technical/ scientific/ literary/ socio-scientific education to fulfil the national and international demand and necessity for sustainable development maintaining the quality of scientist/ technocrat/educationist/ social scientist for a better world. The vision is also to rear the marginal and rural students through spreading the true essence of education, practicing the sense of equality in our society, making life colourful and meaningful.



Mission

  • To provide quality education in the area of Chemistry with strong fundamentals, through rigorous curriculum that develops the ability to solve problems individually and in a team.
  • To impart education, which may provide innovative skills in their respective area of specialization through special classes, group discussion, role-play, activities, smart classes, direct interaction, quiz, assignment and guiding for competitive examination.
  • To develop competent man power with deep awareness in human values and ethics creating globally acceptable high quality skilled, potential, professional individuals for Industries, Academics and Society at large.


Objectives

Students will be able to demonstrate the scientific understandings of the structure of matter and of its Physical and Chemical transformations. Students will apply appropriate theories to predict chemical structure, reactivity
The program goals provide the overview of the instruction’s mission with specific learning objectives are:

  • Effectively convey chemical knowledge in both written and oral form.
  • Be aware of the ethical principles and professional conduct associated with chemical research and professional positions.
  • Employment as a practicing Chemist and to use chemical and technical knowledge and skill.
